So starting next week, I’ll be on a partial Internet Hiatus. I won’t be posting on my serials or this blog, nor will I be available on FB. It’s time for me to buckle down and get Dreams from the Grave finished.
I was hoping to have this out in December, but I’m not going to hit that mark (thus the hiatus). I’m hoping that setting aside all the serial work and staying offline will give me the time and focus needed to get through. (Now if only the world around us would calm down, it would be so much easier!)
I will still be on Twitter, which takes very little of my time, and some of my private forums. And I’ll take refuge in my Tumblr, which is just pretty pictures–no politics.
The bad part about a FB hiatus is that once I return, it will be even more broken than before. Once I fall out of people’s algorithms, I can’t get back in, so you’ll continue to see less of me even after I am back. As a writer platform, though, FB is not great, so it’s tempting just to shut it down and walk away.
Anyhow, if you don’t see me around, that means I’m off getting writing done.
